About Evazion:
We perform a comprehensive 2 to 3 hour set comprising of classic popular hit songs from the last 50 years including artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, Eddie Cochrane, Status Quo, Van Morrison and modern artists such as Snowpatrol, The Killers, The Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon etc… not to exclude our 70’s set that always goes down well and includes classic covers from the Bay City Rollers and Showaddywaddy.

Based in County Down, distance is no problem for Evazion and the band will consider travelling to perform at any venue.

Dan McEvoy:
(Guitar & backing vocals)


 Dan is the main driving force behind Evazion and as well as playing guitar, performs backing vocals in the band, he manages all aspects of Evazion. A Trained musician Dan has played in various bands over the past 25 years. Dan has managed Evazion for the past 10 years.

Danny Gilmore:
(Lead Vocals) 		Danny joined Evazion in August 09 as Lead singer. An experienced and talented vocalist, Danny brings a wealth of experience with him to Evazion, having performed in various bands over the past 10 years. With a dynamic presence on stage and great vocal skills, our audiences are ensured of a good night’s entertainment.
     
Joe Ward:
(keyboard & backing vocals)		 Joe is the Keyboard player in Evazion and also performs backing vocals. A talented musician with an ability to play a varied selection of instruments, Joe's skill on the keys brings a distinct drive and feel to the songs we play. Joe also demonstrates his ability on the electro acoustic on occasion during our set. Joe joined the band in June 09.
     
Conal McKee:
(Drums & Percussion)		 As the drummer in Evazion, many would say that Conal is our backbone! Into his 10th year of drumming, Conal brings attitude to drumming. With plenty of playing experience Conal’s style helps steer the lads through each set! Conal has age on his side and definitely keeps the band entertained when the band are entertaining others!
     
Eoin Curran  
(Bass Guitar & backing vocals)		 Eoin is the newest member of Evazion joining the band in April 2010. Eoin, although prefering guitar has taken on the mantel as the band's bass player. Eoin also performs backing vocals. Eoin brings a wealth of talent to the band and together with Conal they provide the Rhythm section that is Evazion.

Gear:

Evazion perform through modern sound equipment to ensure audiences experience a professional show (see gear hire page for list of gear used). Our Mackie active PA rig provides the main front of house sound and a Mackie monitor system powered by Crown amplification ensure we hear what you are hearing.

Vocals are delivered through Industry Standard Shure SM58 units with Danny favouring the AKG WMS professional wireless system for his “big voice”. Orange and Ashdown amps are used by Dan and Eoin for the guitars, with Joe playing keys on a Korg X5D, Conal drums on a Tama Superstar Custom kit.
