About
Evazion:
We
perform a comprehensive 2 to 3 hour set comprising of hit songs from
the last 50 years including classic artists such as Elvis, The Beatles,
Eddie Cochrane, Status Quo, Van Morrison and modern artists such as
Snowpatrol, The Killers, The Kaiser Chiefs etc… not to exclude our
70’s set that always goes down well and includes classic covers from
the Bay City Rollers and Showaddywaddy.
Based in County Down, distance is no problem for Evazion
and the band will consider travelling to perform at any venue. |

Dan
McEvoy:
(Guitar, Keyboard & Vocals) |
 |
Dan
McEvoy: Dan is the main driving force behind the band and as
well as playing guitar, keyboards and performing backing vocals
in the band he manages all aspects of Evazion.
A Trained musician Dan has played in various bands over the
past 25 years. Dan has managed Evazion for the past 8 years.

Jeff
Watt:
(Lead
Vocals)

Jeff
is the front man of the band and as such leads the band through
each show/gig. Jeff has many years experience behind him as
a guitarist and took on the main vocal role within Evazion
in March 07. Jeff has a big presence on stage and entertains
all audiences with his impressive vocal range and unique style.

Shane
McKenna:
(Bass
Guitar, 2nd Guitar and backing vocals) |

Shane
is the bassist in Evazion and also performs
backing vocals. A talented musician with an ability to play
a varied selection of instruments, Shane’s bass playing brings
a distinct drive and feel to the songs we play. Shane is the
“youngest” member of the band and he performs the invaluable
role of keeping the “oldies” up to date with current trends!!

Ryan
Earley:
(Drums & Percussion) |

As
the drummer in Evazion, many would say that
Ryan is our backbone! Into his 10th year of drumming, Ryan brings
attitude to drumming. With a talent for playing other instruments
Ryan has concentrated on the drums and his style helps steer
the lads through each set! Like Shane, Ryan has age on his side
and definitely keeps the band entertained when the band are
entertaining others! |

Gear:
Evazion
perform through modern sound equipment to ensure audiences experience
a professional show (see gear hire page for list of gear used).
Our Mackie active PA rig provides the main front of house sound
and a Mackie monitor system powered by Crown amplification ensure
we hear what you are hearing.
Vocals
are delivered through Industry Standard Shure SM58 units and Jeff
favours the AKG WMS professional wireless system for his “big voice”
this equipment ensures the audience can hear what Jeff actually
sings as opposed to a noise. Vox and Ashdown amps are used by Dan
and Shane for the guitars and Ryan drums on a Tama Superstar Custom
kit.
