About Evazion: |
We perform a comprehensive 2 to
3 hour set comprising of classic hit songs from the last 50 years including
artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, Eddie Cochrane, Status
Quo, Van Morrison and modern artists such as Snowpatrol, The Killers,
The Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon etc… not to exclude our 70’s set that
always goes down well and includes classic covers from the Bay City
Rollers and Showaddywaddy.
Based in County Down, distance is no problem for Evazion and the
band will consider travelling to perform at any venue. |

Dan McEvoy:
(Guitar, Keyboard & backing vocals)

Dan is the main driving
force behind Evazion
and as well as playing guitar, keyboards and performing backing
vocals in the band he manages all aspects of Evazion.
A Trained musician Dan has played in various bands over the
past 25 years. Dan has managed Evazion for the past 10 years.

Danny Gilmore:
(Lead Vocals)

Danny
joined Evazion in August 09 as Lead singer.
An experienced and talented vocalist, Danny brings
a wealth of experience with him to Evazion, having performed
in various bands over the past 10 years. With a dynamic presence
on stage and great vocal skills, our audiences
are ensured of a good night’s entertainment. |

Joe Ward:
(Bass Guitar, keyboard and backing vocals) |
 |
Joe is the bassist in Evazion and also
performs backing vocals. A talented musician with an ability
to play a varied selection of instruments, Joe's bass playing
brings a distinct drive and feel to the songs we play. Joe
also demonstrates his ability on the keyboard for some songs in Evazion's set list.

Conal McKee:
(Drums & Percussion) |

As the drummer in Evazion, many
would say that Conal is our backbone! Into his 10th year of
drumming, Conal brings attitude to drumming. With plenty of
playing experience Conal’s style helps steer the lads through
each set! Like Shane, Conal has age on his side and definitely
keeps the band entertained when the band are entertaining others!

Ryan Early
(Sound & Lighting Tech) |

Ryan
is the Tech for Evazion,
looking after both FOH sound and Lighting for the band, having worked with the band for a couple of years,
his knowledge of our play lists allows
him to demonstrate his experience at the FOH. Sound, effects,
lighting and stage monitoring are all under Ryan’s control and
he is the 5th member of the Evazion. |

Gear:
Evazion perform through
modern sound equipment to ensure audiences experience a professional
show (see gear hire page for list of gear used). Our Mackie active
PA rig provides the main front of house sound and a Mackie monitor
system powered by Crown amplification ensure we hear what you are
hearing.
Vocals
are delivered through Industry Standard Shure SM58 units and Danny
favours the AKG WMS professional wireless system for his “big voice”
this equipment ensures the audience can hear what he actually sings
as opposed to a noise. Orange and Ashdown amps are used by Dan and
Joe for the guitars and Conal drums on a Tama Superstar Custom
kit.
